On Location

>

The month of July had me on location for a number of architectural photography shoots.  The first was a model town home in Maryland, second was an amazing single family home in Virginia and finally, I ventured to Glen Echo park, Maryland.

This picture of me was taken during the Glen Echo park shoot during a nice steamy evening in the DC/MD area.

Here are a few of my favorites:

Second floor of the model townhouse.  The windows and the brick wall were the details I enjoyed the most.

This room was found in another part of the townhouse.  I loved the punch of color.

The townhouse complex had a recreation center and the picture below is from that location.

Glen Echo Park began in 1891 as a National Chautauqua Assembly, which taught the sciences, arts, languages, and literature. By the early 1900s, Glen Echo Park had become a premier amusement park that served the Washington area until 1968.  The park is full of art deco architecture and great neon lights.

Lastly, the symmetry of the chairs drew me in on this image.
