I collaborated with Kate and Jack Lennie, founders of We Are Makers, an independent publication and podcast that celebrates makers' stories. During their U.S. podcasting tour, I traveled to Vermont document the behind-the-scenes of their "in the workshop" podcast episode and then to New York for an event of a featured maker.
This project included a mix of brand photography, video, and drone footage—capturing the energy of their process, the character of each location, and the authentic moments that happen between the interview. We also captured "on the road" style portraits along with environmental portraits to support their needs throughout the year.
The final content gave them a powerful, on-brand visual library to promote their tour, connect with their audience, and reinforce the storytelling at the heart of their brand.

"We travelled from Scotland to the USA for a month-long podcast tour and Nicole kindly drove out to meet us in Vermont and Corning to capture us doing what we love - meeting incredible makers and sharing their stories through our magazine and podcast.
From the get-go, Nicole was fantastic. Her communication, ideas, and planning made the whole process feel easy and relaxed. On the day of the shoot, she made us feel completely at ease in front of the camera - which is no small thing! It felt like we were just doing our thing, and she captured the energy and connection perfectly.
This was our first time ever having proper brand photography done, and honestly, it’s been a game-changer for us. Having high-quality photos that truly reflect what we do - and both of us in the frame together has been so valuable for our business. We finally have visuals we’re proud to share across our website, socials, and media kits. It feels like gold.
Nicole is not only an amazing photographer, but a genuinely lovely person to be around. We’re so grateful she was part of this chapter in our journey - and we couldn’t be happier with the photos she created."
