Photographing athlete’s during a portrait session or competition is a great part of my job as a photographer. The amount of time dedicated to training is impressive and I’m proud to capture an amazing image to cement the accomplishment. Any athlete will tell you that their nutrition is a major part of their overall training and success at their sport. This is why I have added a food photography section to my website called “Farm to Table”. Many of the athlete’s I have worked with subscribe to eating high quality, local food, which I try to follow as well. It doesn’t hurt that I love food photography and love to cook. Training hard doesn’t mean you can’t celebrate on occasion, so I am including a great drink recipe to this post. The main photo in this blog post is inspired by the NorCal Margarita. I first learned about this great drink during a nutrition seminar given by Robb Wolf. I highly recommend it. Enjoy!
NorCal Margarita
- 2 shots of gold or silver tequila
- Juice of 1 lime (the whole dang thing)
- Splash of soda/sparkling water
